From recorded supports to a reviewable assignment draft.
Illustrative example written by AIccommodate. The task and supports below are invented. This is not an actual student record, generated product output, or evidence of a student outcome.
The original task
Read a teacher-selected short story. Write one paragraph explaining how a character changes. State a claim, select two quotations, and explain how each supports the claim. The teacher assesses evidence selection and reasoning.
The assumed supports
For this example only, assume the documented plan calls for chunked directions and a writing organizer. Confirm the actual wording, conditions, and any other required supports in a real plan. Do not infer these supports from a diagnosis.
A draft of chunked directions
1. Read the story and mark places where the character acts or thinks differently. 2. Write your claim about the change. 3. Choose two quotations that support your claim. 4. Explain what each quotation shows. 5. Combine your ideas into one paragraph and check it against the rubric.
A draft organizer
Use blank fields headed: My claim / First quotation and location / What this quotation shows / Second quotation and location / What this quotation shows. Leave evidence and explanations for the student to supply.
What the teacher checks
The draft still requires one paragraph, two quotations, and an explanation for each. It supplies no claim, quotation, or completed reasoning. Compare the chunks with the original directions, check that the organizer matches the documented support, and review the reading itself for barriers the draft does not address.
Where AIccommodate fits
An assignment can provide context for tool suggestions and draft material preparation. A teacher can review reading or writing scaffolds and revise the result before sharing. This example shows the review process; it does not promise a particular tool will reproduce these exact words.
